Graze & Gather June 8, 2014 – Fundraiser for Langley Community Farmer’s Market
So, Who’s Your Farmer? - The Graze & Gather Event
What do you get when you bring 8 chefs, 8 farmers, and 8 libations under one roof? The Graze & Gather; an event benefitting the Langley Community Farmers Market. You may have already noticed that I’m a little obsessed with the farmers market this year, but have I mentioned that I’m a wee bit excited about this particular event?!
Hosted at Coast Appliances in Langley, all the cooking will take place in their amazing display kitchens. This is your chance to meet the farmers that grow the food and chat with the chefs who prepare it. You’ll also rub elbows with the wine makers who are providing the pairings.
So how does it work? Guests will gather together and make their way from one kitchen (there’s a few) to the next as they graze and nibble their way through the different offerings. Sponsored by four incredibly community-minded, local businesses: Fraser Valley Cork & Keg Festival, Coast Appliances, Well Seasoned, and Duolynx Printing, this is your chance to interact with your local food community and learn who your farmers are.
Space for this event is very limited and tickets are selling quickly. Tickets are $79 and can be ordered online at langleycommunityfarmersmarket.com.

We are everywhere this week; this morning CTV Morning Live | BC. Awesome job again David Stansfield from Tap & Barrel and our friend Heather from 1 Fish 2 Fish Fresh Seafood Market. This morning was 4 delicious beers Mission Springs Brewing Company Vancouver Island Brewery Cannery Brewing and Steamworks Beer that will all be appearing tomorrow night at the Fraser Valley Cork & Keg – Wine & Beer Festival. Getting so excited about what tomorrow will bring.
